We take pride in our ongoing commitment to reduce our plastic usage.
Packaging for our Liquorice, Bullets and BBs ranges now features less plastic compared to the equivalent Darrell Lea packaging in 2023.
This equates to 15 tonnes of plastic# no longer entering landfills or recycling facilities in Australia. Our calculation is based on the total plastic in Darrell Lea’s Liquorice, Bullets and BBs ranges, assuming equivalent manufacturing volumes in 2024.
Why we did this?
We are always looking for ways to reduce our impact on the environment.
We have delivered a better outcome for the environment whilst not compromising on our famous Darrell Lea taste and quality.
